Urgent Requirement-Database Administrator
The Database Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise database systems to ensure high performance, availability, security, and data integrity. Key responsibilities include:

Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of enterprise and client databases, evaluating architecture, performance, scalability, security, and data integrity.

Lead and execute complex database migrations from heterogeneous sources such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, MS Access, MySQL, Excel, and CSV into SQL Server or other enterprise platforms, ensuring minimal business disruption.

Administer and maintain multiple high-availability SQL Server instances, ensuring operational stability, performance optimization, and disaster recovery readiness.

Design, develop, unit test, and deploy database components, including restructuring database architectures to improve scalability, maintainability, and query performance.

Develop, implement, and optimize ETL processes using SSIS, Informatica, or similar tools to support integration across multiple enterprise systems.

Implement SSIS-based integrations and automated workflows between QuickBooks and SQL Server to streamline ETL and reporting processes.

Automate database workflows, scheduling, and maintenance using SQL Server Agent, Autosys, or equivalent job management tools.

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions, including SSRS, Power BI, and custom dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Establish, document, and enforce database policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance, security, and data quality.

Perform advanced database performance tuning by optimizing indexing strategies, SQL queries, and data structures, and provide technical guidance to development teams.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex database performance, availability, ETL, and data integrity issues for internal and external stakeholders.

Design, implement, and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Log Shipping, backup strategies, recovery models, and maintenance plans.

Monitor database performance using tools such as SQL Profiler and Database Tuning Advisor, analyze execution plans, and resolve deadlocks and concurrency issues.

Implement and maintain database security by managing logins, users, roles, and access controls in accordance with organizational standards.

Automate database processes and deployments to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and minimize errors.

Perform regular database backups, optimize backup and restore performance, and ensure business continuity and data protection.

Conduct feasibility studies and recommend database solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

Collaborate closely with development teams, IT leadership, application support, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable, scalable database solutions.

Conduct code reviews, oversee change management, manage deployments, and ensure adherence to software development and compliance standards.

Maintain in-depth functional and technical knowledge of core applications and integrated systems to provide effective database support.

Develop mitigation strategies and alternative solutions to prevent business interruptions while maintaining compliance and security standards.

Ensure all deliverables meet organizational quality standards, project requirements, and compliance guidelines.
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Information Technology and Cybersecurity is required.
